What Easy Anti-Cheat does

EAC runs alongside the game and looks for interference with its memory and processes, using signatures for known tooling plus heuristics for behaviour that does not look like ordinary play. It updates independently of the game itself, which is why a quiet week can still end with a build going offline.

What that means in practice

Compatibility is a moving target rather than a fixed property. When EAC changes, the loader is rebuilt against the new version and published. The gap between those events is the period where the honest answer is to not play, and it is the reason the status page exists.

Things that make EAC's job easier

Running other overlays and injectors alongside it adds surface area for no benefit. So does playing immediately after a large patch because the status page has not been updated yet — absence of a note is not the same as a green light.

The part nobody controls

Detection is not the only route to a ban. Player reports trigger review, and review does not require an anti-cheat flag to reach a conclusion. Settings that keep you unremarkable are doing security work that no bypass can do for you.
